Steelform was formed in 1962 as a partnership company for the sale and installation of structural steelwork, partitions and storage racking, mainly selling other manufacturers' products. This continued for about five years when it was decided to manufacture and install only products designed and manufactured by ourselves in order that we could maintain quality and service under our own control.
In 1975 the partnership was registered as a private limited company using the trade name Steelform, which eventually became the registered name of the company.
The company is as originally formed in 1962, a family owned company operating from our own premises. Gary John Pulley, who is a son of the original founders, joined the company in 1992 as a Project/Technical Sales Director, being a Chartered Structural Engineer. We are now able to offer an in-house design package enabling us to improve our quality and service and to enable us to take full control of design, turnkey installations and to negotiate all aspects of contracts from start to completion and carry out all negotiations on behalf of our clients with all local authorities.
The company purchased and moved in to a more modern and better equipped factory in January 1994, thus enabling us to continue in improving quality, price and service offered.
